The Center for Studies on New-Developmentalism is dedicated to the research and dissemination of knowledge oriented to the formulation and analysis of national development strategies, including the study and design of macroeconomic, sectoral and social policies that enable the middle-income countries to compete internationally, in a sustainable way, and catching up. We advocate New-Developmentalism as the basis for the discussion, development and consolidation of these policies and strategies.
The mission of the Centre is to formulate and disseminate knowledge, suggesting proposals that can subsidize the formulation of public and private sector policies, mainly through theoretical and applied studies and researches, assuming that middle-income countries such as Brazil need to own and consolidate a national development strategy.
